Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Spence were held December 8 at 1:30 p.m. Mrs.
Spence who lived at 2005 Chesterfield Street, South Norfolk, died December 5 in
a local hospital.

She was a native of Norfolk and was a member of the United Order of Tents, Naomi
Tents No. 31 and was the widow of the late Tom Spence.

Final rites were conducted at St. Marks Congregational Christian Church and the
pastor, Rev. D. P. Butts officiated.

She is survived by three nieces, three nephews and several great nieces and
nephews. Burial was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Citizens Funeral Home in charge.
