Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, October 7, 1993
Linwood A. Spence Jr., of the 6300 block of Chesapeake Blvd., a forklift
operator, died Oct. 4, 1993, in a local hospital.

Mr. Spence was born in Norfolk and was employed with Camellia Food for 15 years.
He was an Army veteran.

Survivors include one daughter, Monica Jones and two sons, Aubrey Jones and
James Jones, all of Norfolk; two sisters, Angela Spence of Chesapeake and Sarah
Floyd of Baltimore; three brothers, Carver Lee Spence of Chesapeake, Alvin
Spence of Fargo, N.D., and Conway Spence of Chesapeake; three grandchildren; and
a devoted friend, Patricia Jones of Norfolk.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in Graves Funeral Home by the Rev.
Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . A wake service will be from
6 to 7 p.m. Friday. Friends may join the family at the residence.
