Funeral services for Edward Spencer were held from the New Calvary Baptist
Church on Sunday, April 14, with Elder S. A. Wilson, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Spencer, 62, was a native of Swan Quarter, NC and made his home at 960
Reservoir avenue, Norfolk.

He held memberships in the New Calvary Baptist Church and Campbell Lodge of
Ancient Free and Accepted Masons.

Survivors are Mrs. S. M. Spencer, wife; one son, Edward Spencer, Jr., and a
stepson, Roy Shephard. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral
Service in charge of arrangements.
