A native of Cumberland, MD, she lived here 55 years. She was a daughter of the late Max and Mrs. Jennie Sacks Jacobson. She was a member of Congregation Beth El, B'Nai B'rith, Council of Jewish Women, Jewish Community Center, Needlework Guild Ladies, Hebrew Charity Society, Gomley Chesed Synagogue, Temple Sinai, and Hadassah. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Doris Morrison of Norfolk; two sons, Maury Spencer of Palm Beach and Gilbert Spencer of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Kaplan of Baltimore; and four granddaughters. A funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m. in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts by Rabbi Jerome Kestenbaum and Cantor Edward Portner. Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
