Norfolk Ledger-Star, February 20, 1960
Mrs. Caroline Spicuzza, 77, wife of Thomas Spicuzza and daughter of Thomas and 
Mrs. Santina P. Pirrone, died Friday at 6:30 a.m., in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Spicuzza was a native of Italy and a resident of Norfolk for 58 years, 
lately at 115 Ridgely Road. 

Besides her husband, a fruit merchant, she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. 
Frank Pancano of New York City; two sons, Frank Spicuzza and Anthony Spicuzza 
of Norfolk; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Frank 
Pirrone of Norfolk and a sister, Mrs. Joseph Balsamo of Portsmouth; also nieces 
and nephews.

A rosary service will be held at H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 8:30 
p.m. A funeral service will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church Monday 
at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
