Spiller, Norfolk Juvenile Service Chief NORFOLK - William Michale Spiller of 2620 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., chief of juvenile service for the City of Norfolk and a social welfare worker 30 years, died February 11 in a hospital. A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Aslieen D. Spiller and a son of William T. and Mrs. Bessie F. Spiller. A graduate of Booker T. Washington High School, he received a Master's degree from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. He was a graduate of West Virginia State College and attended Lincoln University. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, the Virginia Juvenile Officers Association, the Virginia Council on Social Welfare, the YMCA, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, and Norfolk Chapter of the Guardsmen Inc. Survivors also include two sisters, Mrs. Hermione S. Ford of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Mamie S. Murray of Norfolk. A funeral service was held February 14 in Grace Episcopal Church by the Rev. Joseph N. Green. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
