Virginian-Pilot August 22, 1972
NORFOLK - Isidoro Spinella, 66, of 4601 Mayflower Drive, died in a Norfolk 
hospital Monday.
A native of Italy, he lived in Norfolk most of his life.
He was the husband of Mrs. Anna Sansone Spinella and a son of Daniel and Mrs. 
Elvira Mollica Spinella.
A retired cabinet maker, he was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 
and the Portsmouth Loyal Order of Moose.
Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. R. Woody Jr., of 
Springfield; a son, Daniel C. Spinella of Norfolk; three brothers, Nick Spinella 
of New York City, Vincent Spinella of Bologna, Italy, and Antonino Spinella of 
Rome, Italy; and three grandchildren.
The Office of the Dead will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments today at 
7:30 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 
Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
