Virginian-Pilot, September 21, 1962
NORFOLK - Mrs. Rosa Chaskin Spital, 80, of 750 Baldwin Ave, widow of Peretz 
Spital and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Chaskin, died in a Norfolk hospital 
Thursday at 9:20 a.m.
She lived in Norfolk 50 years and was a member of Golden Age Club, Hadassah, 
B'Nai B'rith and Jewish War Veterans.
Surviving are four daughters; Mrs. Helen Eisenson of Norfolk, Mrs. Rebecca 
Cramer of Newport News, Mrs. Nell Kaplit of Glencoe, IL, and Mrs. Freda Magnus 
of Highland Park, IL; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts today at 12:30 p.m. 
Burial will be in B'Nai Israel Cemetery.
