Norfolk Journal and Guide, Jun 9,1971
Norfolk - Pernell Spivey of 523 B. Palaskie street, Baltimore, died recently 
in a hospital.
 
A native of Edenton, NC, he was a son of Mrs. Louise Spivey and the husband of 
Mrs. Lola Spivey.  He worked four years for Liskey Lithograph Co.
 
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Vernell Smith and Miss Essie Mae 
Spivey of Norfolk, and Mrs. Barbara Ann Reid of Greensboro, two brothers, 
Felmore Spivey of New York, and Robert W. Spivey of Norfolk;  and four 
sisters, Mrs. Lexie Jordan, Mrs. Ruth Spivey  and Mrs. Essie Spivey of New 
York and Mrs. Jannie Jordan of Norfolk.
 
The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
