Virginian Pilot, Friday, Jan. 19,1990
Portsmouth - Hazel Beulah Spivey, of the 300 block of Viking St., a retired 
private duty nurse, died Jan. 16,1990, in a hospital.
Mrs. Spivey, a native of Snowden, NC, was a member of St. Mary’s Pentecostal 
Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Percy S. Spivey;  a daughter, Martha Bagby of 
Portsmouth;  a sister, Helene Morris of Norfolk;  a brother, Benjamin Baxter of 
Portsmouth;  four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Hale Funeral Home by the 
Rev. Thad Brinkley and the Rev. J. R. Savage.  Burial will be in Calvary 
Cemetery.
