Virginian-Pilot October 9, 1959
SPLAN, LLOYD WILLIAM – At the residence, 541 W. 36th St., Thursday, Oct. 8, 1959, 
at 4:15 p.m., LLOYD WILLIAM SPLAN, husband of Mrs. Helen Brandt Splan, in the 61st 
year of his age. The body will be taken from the Ewell & Williamson Funeral Home 
to the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services SATURDAY MORNING, 
Oct. 10, 1959, at 10 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. 
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at the 
funeral home Friday at 8 p.m.
