Norfolk - Mrs. Mary Lee Spooner of 953 Hanson Avenue, the widow of Edward A.
Spooner, died in a hospital.

A native of Whaleyville, she was a daughter of the late William and Mrs. Leaner
H. Bagley.

She was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church and the Third Order.

Surviving are a foster daughter, Mrs. Mary G. Staton of Norfolk;  three
brothers, Robert Bagley and Willie Dinkins of Norfolk, and James Dinkins of
Baltimore;  and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Smith of Norfolk and Mrs. Mildred
Gholston of Brooklyn.

Services were held in Saint Mary's Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's
Cemetery.  Hale Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
