Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, March 21, 1998 
On Friday, March 13, 1998, the Lord's beautiful little 6-week-old angel, Monica
DaVette Spraggins-Turner, decided to go home to glory. She died at her residence
at the 1300 block of Oakmont Place. She will be greatly missed.

Born in Norfolk, she is survived by her mother, Gloria DaVette Spraggins of
Norfolk; father, Anthony DuJuan Turner of Detroit, Mich.; two grandmothers,
Rachel Spraggins of Norfolk, Flora Taylor of Detroit; two grandfathers, David
Taylor of Norfolk, Ira Taylor, also of Detroit; three uncles, Ernest L.
Spraggins of Portsmouth, Charles Spraggins of Norfolk, Bryan Taylor of Detroit;
two aunts, Shontel Taylor of Detroit and Sandra J. Hudson of Texas. She also
leaves seven great-aunts and eight great-uncles; and a host of other relatives
and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in Calvary Cemetery . Friends
may join the family at 1200 Hillside Ave., Apt. A, Ocean View. Graves Funeral
Home is handling arrangements.
