Norfolk - Ernest S. Spriggs Jr., who died Feb. 14 in a Philadelphia hospital 
after a long illness, was given a funeral service Sunday in Riddick's Funeral 
Chapel by the Rev. William Tyree. Burial services were in Calvary Cemetery.

The Norfolk native was the husband of Mrs. Annie McPherson Spriggs and a son 
of Ernest S. Spriggs Sr. and the late Mrs. Eva Goodman Spriggs.

Besides his father, surviving are a daughter, Miss Anita Spriggs of Norfolk; a 
sister, Miss Ruth N. Spriggs of New York; and a grandchild.
