The Virginian Pilot Wednesday October 16, 1985
Jean Love Spruell of 1221 Hanson Ave., a native of Norfolk, died Friday in a 
hospital.
 Mrs. Spruell was a former member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
 Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Spruell, four sons, Andy Spruell, 
Pierre Spruell, Eddie E. Spruell and Darryl T. Spruell, three sisters, Shirley 
L. Walker, Marie Louie and Joan L. Westbrook, and a brother, William Love, all 
of Norfolk, and four grandchildren.
 The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Hale Funeral Chapel by the 
Rev. J. Jasper Freeman. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Hale Funeral Home 
is handling arrangements.
 A Christian wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral 
home. The family will be at the residence.
