Mrs. Pattie Spruiell - Funeral services for Mrs. Spruiell who died Wednesday,
Dec. 31, at the age of 89 years, were held Sunday at the Rising Sun Baptist
Church with the Rev. Hilton C. Felton officiating. A native of North Carolina,
she had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 years, residing at the home of her
daughter, Mrs. Lillie Stokes of 600 East Berkley avenue.

Besides Mrs. Stokes, Mrs. Spruiell is survived by one other daughter, Mrs.
Beulah Hall, one son, William Spruiell, and twelve grandchildren. Burial was in
Mt. Olive Cemetery.
