Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - December 2, 2010
NORFOLK - Janice Renee Spruill of the 200 block of S. Newtown Road died Nov. 24,
2010 in Sentara Nursing Home. She was born in Norfolk.

She is survived by one daughter, Sierra Spruill; one son, Devon Spruill; mother,
Annie Louise Spruill; father, David Lee Spruill Sr. (Cheryl); three sisters,
Sandra Roberts (James), Felicia Spruill, Deborah Cooper; four brothers, Donnell
Cooper Sr. (Joanne), Willie Cooper, Minister Jimmy Cooper (Angela), David
Spruill Jr.; one grandchild, Bre'Ashia Spruill; a special friend, Priscilla
Williams; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by one sister, Kimberly Cooper.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, in Faith Temple COGIC, 37th
and Gosnold, with Elder James Williams presiding. Burial will be held in Calvary
Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing today from 3:30 to 8 p.m. The
family will be receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at Carlos A. Howard Funeral
Homes Chapel, Norfolk. The family will assemble at 217 W. 37th St. at 10 a.m.
