NORFOLK - Percy H. Spruill of 1011 Charlotte St. died Tuesday in a hospital 
after a short illness.

A native of Norfolk, he was the husband of Mrs. Betty Spruill and a son of Mrs. 
Ethel Williams Jones and the late Walter Spruill.

He was a desk clerk for the Atlantic Hotel.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Besides his widow and mother, surviving are his stepfather, Charles H. Jones, a 
daughter, Mrs. Ethel Roscoe, two brothers, John Spruill and James O. Spruill, 
and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Forbes and Mrs. Sereptia Baker, all of Norfolk, 
and a grandchild.

A funeral service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in Jerusalem Baptist Church by 
the Rev. Thomas A. Venable. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery with Graves 
Funeral Home in charge.

The family will be at 800 E. 27th St.
