Virginian Pilot June 15, 1909

Felix Spry died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lila Casey, 324 State street, 
yesterday morning at 3:55 o'clock, in the 86th year of his age.  The deceased was 
a native of North Carolina, but had resided here for a number of years, a greater 
part of which he was engaged in the fish and oyster business. Owing to ill health 
he retired from active business several years ago.  He is survived by a widow and 
one daughter, Mrs. Casey.  The funeral will take place from the above residence 
this morning at 11 o'clock, and will be conducted by Rev. M.L Bryant, pastor of 
Main Street Christian Church.  The interment will take place in Magnolia Cemetery.
