Norfolk Virginian July 30, 1896

Miss Maggie Stafford died between 2 and 3 o'clock yesterday morning at the home 
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Stafford, No. 44 Chapel Street, after a 
lingering illness.

The funeral of the late Miss Margaret A. Stafford took place at 10 o'clock a.m. 
yesterday from her parents residence, No. 44 Chapel Street, Rev. J. B. Merritt, 
the seamen's chaplain, officiating.  The interment was in Elmwood.  The 
following were the pallbearers: Messrs, Frank Halstead, M. McDonough, L. 
Householder and W. Sheldon.

STAFFORD - In this city, at the residence of her parents, 44 Chapel Street, 
Wednesday July 29th at 2:45 o'clock, a.m., MARGARET A. STAFFORD, aged 42 years.
Funeral took place from above residence THURSDAY MORNING at 10 o'clock.
