The funeral of Napoleon (“Nap”) Stallings, popular barber, who died at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Clem Woodard, 835 Washington avenue,with whom he resided Monday
evening, March 12, was held at the Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, of which the
deceased was a member, Sunday afternoon at 1:30 with the Rev. C. J. Henderson,
pastor, officiating.

It was a largely attended funeral, the church and ante-rooms being packed. The
pastor paid a touching tribute to Mr. Stallings’ faithfulness in attendance upon
religious services. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
