The Norfolk Virginian Pilot June 6, 1938
George Washington Stallings, aged 67, died at a local hospital yesterday 
afternoon at 5:15 o'clock after a long illness. He is survived by a sister, 
Mrs. Claude Wilkins, a brother, J.T. Stallings, and a number of nieces and 
nephews, all of Norfolk. Mr. Stallings was a native of Norfolk County and had 
been a resident of Norfolk 35 years and was a member of Industry Council, O.F.A.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
