Norfolk - Funeral rites were conducted for Mrs. Mary Alice Stancil of 1123 
Wilson road in New Central Baptist Church.  The Rev. W. B. Westbrook officiated.

A native of Norfolk county, she was the widow of James Stancil and a daughter of 
the late Walter and Mrs. Stye Ann Bolden Corprew.

Mrs. Stancil was a member of New Central Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, James Albert Stancil, four daughters, Mrs. Imogene S. 
Davis, Mrs. Virginia Griffin, Mrs. Maria Joyner and Miss Blanche Stancil and a 
half brother, John Davis, all of Norfolk.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in charge.
