Virginian Pilot March 9, 1988

Mary Pepper Stapleton, 91, of the 1400 block of Westover Ave., died March 8, 
1988, in a hospital.
Mrs. Stapleton, a native of St. Louis, had retired from Milady Womens Apparel. 
She was the widow of Thomas I. Stapleton.
Survivors include nieces and nephews.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church by the Rev. John J. Dorgan. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
