He was 57 years old. A native of West Point, Mr. Stark had resided in Norfolk for the past 31 years, and had taken an active part in the business and social life of the community. He was the son of the late Bolivar and Martha Slaughter Stark, and is survived by his wife, Mrs. Virginia Jordan Stark; one son, Thomas Stark, Jr., of Mattoax; two daughters, Mrs. Collin Woods, of Mattoax, and Miss Virginia Stark, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. W.A. Trigg, of Richmond, and Mrs. Thomas Baker, of Oak Grove, and two brothers, W.B. Stark, of this city, and Charles B. Stark, of West Point. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence tomorrow at noon, with the Rev. E. Ruffin Jones, D.D., rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, and the Rev. Richard W. Trapnell, D.D., rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
