Rhetta Naomi Stark, 58, of the 100 block of Cromwell Parkway, died March 17, 
2004. Rhetta was born in Norfolk the daughter of the late Esther Stamm Stark 
and Leon David Stark. She volunteered for the Childrens Hospital of the Kings 
Daughters with their Reach Out and Read Program, something that she truly 
enjoyed. She also assisted her mother with the Chevra Kadisha at B'Nai Israel.
Survivors include her sister, Sandra Levine and her husband Jay of 
Charlottesville, VA; a brother, Marvin Stark and his wife Betty of North 
Brunswick, NJ; an aunt, Hadassah Horenstein of Virginia Beach; a cousin, Ronnie 
Yancey of Virginia Beach; a nephew, Steven Levine and his wife Shawnna Pledger; 
three nieces, Beth Chaitman and her husband Cary, Susan Keusenkothen and her 
husband Mark and Lauren Stark; a great-nephew, Dashiell Pledger Levine; and 
numerous other cousins and extended family.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at B'Nai Israel 
Cemetery, Norfolk, by Rabbi Yosef Friedman. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts, Norfolk 
Chapel, is handling arrangements.
