The Virginian Pilot Monday April 17, 1967
NORFOLK - Mrs. Elizabeth Knight Starkey, 59, of 7740 Dunfield Place died 
Sunday at 11:35 a.m. in a hospital after a long illness.
A native of Norfolk, she was the widow of William H. Starkey and a daughter of 
Mrs. Mary Newberry Knight and the late William A. Knight.
She was an X-Ray technician at Leigh Memorial Hospital.
She was a charter member of Talbot Park Baptist Church.
Besides her mother, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Billie S. Norman of 
Deerfield, Ill.; a sister, Miss Mary Roberts Knight, and three brothers, 
William N. Knight, Harry H. Knight, and John E. Knight of Norfolk; and three 
grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral 
Home, Chesapeake, by the Rev. W.T. Wood, associcate pastor of Talbot Park 
Baptist Church. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery
