Virginian Pilot February 20, 1974

Clyde Lawrence Starks Sr., 62, of 233 E. 42nd St., the husband of Mrs. Olga 
Taraczkozy Starks, died Tuesday morning in a hospital.
A native of Fayette County W. Va., he worked for Black and White Cabs here more 
than 30 years.
Besides his widow, survivors include a son, Clyde L. Starks Jr. of Virginia 
Beach; and four daughters, Army Sgt. April E. Starks, Mrs. Elizabeth S. Morgan 
of Alexandria, Mrs. Theresa S. Rogers of Commerce City, Colo. and Miss Korolon 
R. Starks of Norfolk.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apartments by the Rev. Raymond Barton. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

STARKS, SR., CLYDE LAWRENCE - In a Norfolk hospital, Tuesday, CLYDE LAWRENCE 
STARKS, SR., husband of Mrs. Olga Taraczkozy Starks, and son of the late Albert 
and Mrs. Bertha Lee McBrayer Starks, in the 62nd year of his age. A funeral 
service will be held in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, Friday at 10 a.m. 
Burial, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
