Olga Taraczkozy Starks (Mickey), 89, passed away in her daughter's Virginia Beach 
home on April 11, 2004, after a long illness.

Born Jan. 25, 1915, Olga was the third youngest of 11 children of the late William 
and Elizabeth Taraczkozy of Beckley, W.Va., Hungarian immigrants who came to 
America in the early 1900s. She moved to Norfolk with her late husband, Clyde L. 
Starks Sr. in 1943, and lived in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area for 53 years, in 
Grovetown, Ga. for eight years and returned to Virginia Beach in November 2003.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Dzurochin, Vilma Myers and 
Margit E. Bragg; and seven brothers, Steve, Baler, Joseph, Louie, Alex, Bill and 
Frank Taraczkozy.

Olga's legacy includes a son, Clyde L. Starks Jr. of Virginia Beach; four 
daughters, April E. Starks, of Grovetown, Ga., Elizabeth S. Morgan, of Alexandria, 
Va., Theresa S. Rogers, of Great Falls, Mont., and Korolon S. Biggs, of Virginia 
Beach; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces, Tara B. 
McCormick, of Virginia Beach and Lisa B. Keffer, of Beckley, W.Va.

Fr. Thomas J. Quinlan will conduct a graveside service Friday at 3 p.m. at St. 
Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Norfolk. Funeral arrangements by H.D. Oliver Funeral 
Apts., Laskin Road Chapel.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers and friends for their care 
and support during Olga's illness. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that 
donations be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, 1279 N. Great Neck Road, 
Virginia Beach, VA 23454.
