Fred Lee Staten - Funeral services for Mr. Staten, 917 Bynum street, who died on 
April 14, were held on April 22 from First Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. C. 
Griffin officiating. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Mildred P. Staten, his sisters, 
Pearl Staten, Carlee Staten, Elsie Staten, brothers Edward Staten, Pvt. Joshua 
Staten, and Willie Staten. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory 
Funeral Home in charge.
