Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 28, 1918
STATES - At a local hospital, Sunday morning, Oct. 27, 1918, at 5 o'clock, FRANK 
ABDELL, son of Charles E. and Mary E. States, in the 18th year of his age.
The remains will be taken from the residence of his parents, 712 35th St., to 
Forest Lawn cemetery for funeral services at the grave, TUESDAY AFTERNOON, Oct 
29, at 3 o'clock.

Frank Abdell States, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. States, died suddenly at a 
local hospital Sunday morning at 5 o'clock, in the eighteenth year of his age.  
The remains will be taken from the residence of his parents, 712 Thirty-fifth 
street, to Forest Lawn cemetery for funeral services at the grave, Tuesday 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.  He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Lee G. and 
Herman H. States, and one sister, Mary Bell States, all of Norfolk.
