Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Thursday, September 12, 1991 
Viola E. Staton of the 1700 block of E. Berkley Ave. Extended, a retired packer
and domestic worker, died Sept. 9, 1991, in a hospital.

Mrs. Staton was born in Norfolk. She had retired from the Naval Supply Center
after 20 years.

Survivors include two daughters, Helen Williams and Catherine Edwards; three
sons, Albert Staton, Charles Staton and Timothy Staton; and four sisters,
Beatrice Hood, Margaret Burden, Mary Brown and Lois Moore, all of Norfolk; 19
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Zion Baptist
Church by the Rev. Rayphield Clay. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Friends
may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
