Will Staton, age 63, of 7414 Elm avenue, Oakwood, died Oct. 22 in a local 
hospital.  He was a native of Wadesboro, NC, and had lived in Norfolk for 
about twenty years.

He was a porter at the Monroe Building.

Surviving him are his wife and others.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Oct. 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the First 
Calvary Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. C. E. Griffin, officiating.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale’s Funeral Home in charge.
