John Kociela, officiating. Rev. E. A. Brosnan was present in the sanctuary. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Kociela paid tribute to the Christian life and character of the deceased. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a double cluster of dahlias, asters, gladiolus and fern. During the service, several selections were rendered by the choir of St. Mary’s Academy, with Mrs. James Hughes, organist. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were O. O. Witherspoon, M. C. Bell, W. P. McClenney, E. J. Gerloff, L. J. Burlas, O. L. Pope, J. T. Cochran and B. J. King.
