Virginian-Pilot  October 5, 1912
Miss Kate Stavro, daughter of Jane E. and the late Captain George W. Stavro, died 
at the residence, 605 East Brambleton avenue at 10 o’clock yesterday morning, in 
the 58th year of her age. She is survived by her mother, two brothers, George W., 
of Newport News, and William G., of Florida, and two sisters, Mrs. F. L. Kurtz and 
Mrs. T. M. Morehead, both of this city.
The funeral will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic church at 10 o’clock Monday 
morning. Interment will be in St. Mary’s cemetery.
