Mrs. Alice Smith St. Clair, widow of Frank St. Clair and daughter of the late 
Thomas and Mrs. Mary Daly Smith, died at a local hospital last night at 8:25 
o’clock. Mrs. St. Clair was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk. She is 
survived by one sister, Mrs. W. H. Wales, of Norfolk; three nieces, Mrs. Mary 
Foster, of Lambertsville, N.J., Mrs W. C. Maher and Mrs. Walter Adams, both of 
Norfolk, and three nephews, Henry E. Reardon, Jr., of New Britain, Conn., W. H. 
Wales, III, and Thomas S. Wales, both of Norfolk. The body will be taken from H. 
D. Oliver’s Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason street, to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church, of which Mrs. St. Clair was a member, for services tomorrow 
morning at 10 o’clock.
Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the 
Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8 o’clock.
