The Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 25, 1944
Frank Steadman, Sr., 67, died at a local hospital yesterday morning at 4:45 
o'clock. He is survived by two daughters, Misses Irene Marie and Rita Mae 
Steadman, both of Norfolk, and three sons, Frank Steadman, Jr., of Norfolk; 
Harold Brooks Steadman, of Pearl Harbor, and William D. Steadman, USA. Mr. 
Steadman was a native of New York and had been a resident of Norfolk for 25 
years. He was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church and Piedmont Lodge No. 
447, A.F. & A.M.
The body was taken to the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home.
