The Virginian Pilot Saturday April 16, 1966
Mrs. Alice Niven Stelle, 55, of 1305 Edgewood Ave., died Friday at 10 a.m. in a 
Norfolk hospital.
A native of Portlock, she was a daughter of William G. and Mrs. Fannie 
Blassingham Niven and the wife of Harry E. Steele Sr.
She was a member of Portlock Methodist Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Michael E. Jones of 
Norfolk; two sons, Harry E. Steele Jr. of Virginia Beach and Larry N. Steele of 
Chesapeake; a sister, Mrs. Oliver Dailey, and a brother, L. Chapin Niven, both 
of Chesapeake; and six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral Home 
by the Rev. M.L. Yaple. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
