The Virginian Pilot Tuesday February 25, 1975
Harry E. Steele Sr., 68, of 1305 Edgewood Ave., the husband of Mrs. Elsie 
Albright Steele and a native of Norfolk, died Monday in a Norfolk hospital.
He was retired from Pet Dairies and was a member of South Norfolk Baptist 
Church. He was with the dairies 40 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lola Steele Jones of Norfolk; two 
stepdaughters, Mrs. Frances Lee of Chesapeake and Mrs. Doris Lindsey of 
Birmingham, Ala.; two sons, Harry E. Steele Jr. of Virginia Beach and Larry 
N. Steele of Chesapeake; a stepson, Gerald Morgan of Birmingham, Ala.; four 
sisters, Mrs. Edna Metcalf of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Mabel Odul of Norfolk, 
Mrs. Annie Selloff of Chesapeake, and Mrs. Ada Eades of New Jersey; three 
brothers, Linwood Steele of Portsmouth, Alfred Steele of Virginia Beach, and 
Bobby Steele of Arlington; and six grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Francis A. Gay Funeral 
Home, South Norfolk, by the Rev. Frank Hughes Jr. and the Rev. Chester 
Phelps. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
