Virginian Pilot February 14, 1911

Mrs. Margaret Steele, a highly esteemed and well-known lady, died at the home of 
her nephew, D.T. Mitchell, 3 Chesapeake avenue, South Norfolk, yesterday morning 
at 8 o'clock, after a brief illness.
The deceased was a native of North Carolina, but had been living here for the 
past twelve years.  She was 72 years of age and is survived by several nephews 
and nieces, who are as follows:   D.T. Mitchell, W.R. Mitchell, Miss Jennie 
Mitchell, Mrs. C.D. Pratt.
The funeral will take place from the above residence this afternoon at 3:30 
o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. C.B. Richards, pastor of the Church of 
Christ.  The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery, Berkley.
