The deceased had been a resident of Norfolk for many years and was well known throughout the city. He was in the sixty-second year of his age. He is survived by a widow and several children, among them Mr. Hugh Steele, for a number of years a newspaper writer in Norfolk and now news editor of the Charleston, W. Va. Gazette. The funeral will take place Sunday and will be attended by Sagamore tribe of Red Men, of which he was a member. ******** STEELE- At his residence, 13 James Street, Friday September 16th, 1904, at 9:15 a.m., ROBERT STEELE, in the 62d year of his age.
