Virginian Pilot February 11, 1899
Mrs. C.I. Stengle departed this life yesterday at 7:45 p.m. at the residence of 
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Bland, on Liberty street extended.  Deceased was 26 
years of age and had resided in Berkley for a number of years, during which time 
she has won for herself many warm friends.  She leaves a husband, Rev. C.I. 
Stengle; parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. Bland and sister, Mrs. H.V. Baldwin, to mourn 
their loss.

The funeral of Mrs. C.I. Stengle will be conducted from the residence, on 
Liberty street extended, this afternoon at 3 o'clock by Revs. W.A. Slaymaker, of 
Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church and R.M. Chandler, of Chestnut Street 
M.E. Church.  The interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
