Mrs. Edith Stephenson - Funeral services for Mrs. Stephenson, who died at her
home at 422 East Olney road Feb. 14, were held Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the
National Congregational Church with the pastor, the Rev. P. P. Eaton officiating.

Born in Rich Square, NC, Mrs. Stephenson had been a resident of this city for 38
years and was a member of Rev. Mr. Eaton’s church where she was active in church
work. The obituary was read by Mrs. Annie B. Wilkins. Mrs. Elnora Daniels and
Mrs. L. Young sang solos.

Mrs. Stephenson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Cunningham; two
sisters, Mrs. Daisy Barnes and Mrs. Nellie Ferebee; one granddaughter, Mrs.
Margaret Smith; three great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
