Halina Sternlicht, 77, of the 1700 block of North River Road, died April 22, 
1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Sternlicht was a native of Poland, and a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Ludwig Sternlicht of Virginia Beach; two sisters, 
Klara Kuperschmidt of New York, NY; and Sima Neuman of Tel Aviv, Israel; a 
brother, Mendel Kaswin of Florida; four grandchildren, Nachama Yosifa, Aliza 
Yehudit, Hillel Zvi and Naomi Masada.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. today at B'Nai Israel Cemetery 
by Rabbi Yosef Friedman. The family will be a 1733 North River Road, Virginia 
Beach. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts is handling arrangements.
