Norfolk - Harvey Stevens, 69, of 1508 Montserrado Place died Wednesday in a
Norfolk hospital after a short illness.

A native of the Eastern Shore, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Len Stevens and the
husband of Mrs. Jacquetta Stevens.

He lived in Norfolk 52 years and was a longshoreman 35 years.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Gibbs of Philadelphia, Mrs. Dorothy
Lee Washington of Norfolk and Miss Eunice Stevens of Bridgewell DE; two
brothers, Hobort Stevens and Harrell Stevens of the Eastern Shore; three
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to Morning Glory Funeral Home, where a funeral service will
be held by Elder S. A. Wilson of New Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will be in
Calvary Cemetery.
