She had been in failing health for the past year. A native of Deep Creek, she had been a resident of Norfolk for 60 years. Mrs. Stevens was a daughter of Joseph Robert and Mrs. Caroline Carmine Garrett.. She was a member of the Women’s Benefit Association, and Rebekah Lodge No. 13, I.O.F.F. Surviving are her husband, Frank S. Stevens; two daughters, Mrs. A.F. Hellstrom, of Hamden, Conn.; Mrs. James M. Robertson, Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio; two sons, Herbert C. Stevens and Frank G. Stevens, both of Norfolk; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. by the Rev. Harold MrQ. Shields, pastor of Knox Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
