Norfolk - Willie Stevenson Sr., of 967 Rugby street, retired employee of 
Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, died recently in a hospital.  A native of Little 
River, SC, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Mable Stevenson and a son of the 
late Henry and Mrs. Pacia Stevenson.  He was a member of New Calvary Baptist 
Church and Eureka Elks Lodge.

Surviving are two sons, Willie Stevenson Jr., of Norfolk, and Clarence Stevenson 
of Detroit;  three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Marshall and Mrs. Lillian Holloman of 
Detroit, and Mrs. Vernice McCuller of Norfolk;  two brothers, Elder James 
Stevenson of Whiteville, NC, and Randolph Stevenson of Ocean Drive, SC;  22 
grandchildren;  and two great grandchildren.

The body was taken to Hale Funeral Home.
