Norfolk - Mrs. Annie Steward of 1242 Church street who died Dec. 12 in a nursing 
home, was given final rites Saturday in B. F. King Funeral Chpel by the Rev. H. 
W. B. Walker.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.

The Norfolk native was the widow of Samuel Steward and a daughter of the late 
Eliza Rodgers.  She was a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.

Surviving are two nieces, Mrs. Zeopthia Matsumo of New York City and Mrs. 
Florence H. Miller of Washington, DC, and four nephews, William T. Jordan, 
Leonard Jordan, and Melvin Jordan of Washington, and Frederick Jordan of 
Cleveland, OH.
