Olney Road, a native of Trinidad, West Indies, died Saturday in his home. He was the husband of Carmen Stewart. He had been a shipping clerk at Shippers Services for four years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Other survivors include two daughters, June Cave of Twenty-Nine Palms, Calif., and Veronica John of Trinidad; 11 sons, Gordon Stewart, Richard Stewart and Roy Stewart of Trinidad, Julio Stewart, Otteran Stewart, Albert Stewart, Ian Stewart, Malcolm Stewart and Robert Budd of Norfolk, James Stewart of Virginia Beach and Michael Stewart of Bethesda, Md.; two sisters, Leonite Gonzales and Rose Decoteau of Trinidad; and 14 grandchildren. A joyful Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church by the Rev. Vincent G. Connery. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, with Cox Funeral Home in charge. A Christian wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
