Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday August 14, 1942

Ossie Olar Stewart, aged 70, died last night at his home, 623 West Thirty-fourth 
street, after a short illness.
A native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was the son of the late Samuel and 
Louise Curling Stewart, and husband of Mrs. Amy Coleman Hart Stewart.  In 
addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Tom Cronk, of South 
Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Ella Harris, of South Norfolk; a stepson, John E. Roach, 
of Tarrytown, N.Y.; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, 
where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will 
be in Magnolia Cemetery.
